Metal + Black

Finally had time to devour the August2009 British Vogue and absolutely LOVED the Patrick Demarchelier feature on New York/London/Milan/Paris where the spotlight was shone on the classic labels associated with each city.

For example:
Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors - NYC
Stella McCartney, Giles, Nicole Farhi - London
Prada, Moschino, Gucci, Versace - Milan
Chloe, YSL, LV - Paris

This Moschino FW 2009 photo:
Reminded me of a crazy amalgamation of the following:
  • Burberry Prorsum spikes and studs
  • Ungaro's chained hoodie from FW 2009 (as worn by Rumi of FashionToast)
  • Ricardo Tisci's goth-inspired, eversogorgeous Givenchy FW 2008

Thoughts?

Sweetest comment ever, thank you. Yeah...I actually ran across some really sad blogs on another site. So many girls hating themselves. Fashion is supposed to be fun and lovely not painful.

I was actually just thinking about posting photos of myself, haha. But you're right. It is becoming a bit too much. It's okay up to a point but so much of it is just becoming a vain popularity contest.

Anyway, great post, I am so into the leather jackets and black boots right now. Biker chic I think it's called. These photos are great!
